These are the complications of hypertension:
- Arteries - arteriosclerosis and artherosclerosis result in cardiovascular disease
- Heart - cardiac failure
- Brain - stroke, dementia, aneurysm, mild cognitive impairment
- Kidneys - kidney failure, aneurysm
- Eyes - distorted vision, vision loss
- Sexual dysfunction
- Bone loss
- Trouble sleeping
