Complications of Hypertension

These are the complications of hypertension:

  • Arteries - arteriosclerosis and artherosclerosis result in cardiovascular disease
  • Heart - cardiac failure
  • Brain - stroke, dementia, aneurysm, mild cognitive impairment
  • Kidneys - kidney failure, aneurysm
  • Eyes - distorted vision, vision loss
  • Sexual dysfunction
  • Bone loss
  • Trouble sleeping

I will further explain on how it leads to the complication tomorrow.
